Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)

We plan, build and run Facebook and Instagram campaigns that are judged on enquiries and sales, not reach. Structure, tracking and creative are set up together so the platform learns from the right signals.

What Meta Ads management covers

Meta Ads puts your business in front of people on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and the Audience Network. Unlike search ads, most of these people were not looking for you a minute ago, so the job is to create interest and turn it into a measurable action: a form submission, a WhatsApp chat, a booking or a purchase.

Our work covers the full account: campaign structure, objectives, audiences, placements, creative, tracking and ongoing optimisation. We set up separate campaigns for cold, warm and retargeting audiences so budget is not spread evenly across people at very different stages, and we choose objectives that match the business goal instead of defaulting to traffic.

The most common source of wasted Meta spend is the wrong objective. If you ask the platform for clicks, it finds people who click. If you ask for leads or purchases, with tracking to back it up, it looks for people who convert.

Who gets the most from Meta Ads

Meta works best when your offer can be shown visually and when your buyer can be described by location, interests, life stage or similarity to existing customers. Typical examples:

  • D2C brands selling skincare, apparel, home products or food, where a good product video can create demand on its own.
  • Clinics such as dental, dermatology or physiotherapy practices that want appointment enquiries from a defined radius.
  • Coaching institutes running admission campaigns in a fixed window before a course or exam season.
  • Real estate agencies and developers promoting site visits for specific projects.
  • Restaurants and cafés pushing delivery, reservations or a new menu to nearby audiences.

If your buyers only appear when they actively search for a specific solution, Google Search Ads may be the better starting point, and many accounts run both.

What’s included

  • Business Manager, ad account, Page and Instagram account access checked and organised.
  • Meta Pixel and Conversions API reviewed or set up, with events mapped to real business actions.
  • Campaign structure across prospecting, engagement and retargeting, with objectives matched to the goal.
  • Audience definitions: broad, interest-based, custom audiences and lookalikes built from your best customers.
  • Multiple creative and copy variants per ad set, in formats suited to Feed, Stories and Reels placements.
  • Lead forms or landing pages, plus routing of leads to WhatsApp, your CRM or email.
  • Regular optimisation and a clear report on cost per lead or cost per sale.

How we deliver it

  1. Discovery. We learn what a good customer looks like, what they are worth to you and what happens after an enquiry arrives.
  2. Tracking first. Before spending anything, we confirm that the actions you care about are recorded in Events Manager, ideally through both the Pixel and the Conversions API.
  3. Build. Campaigns, audiences and ads are created in Meta Ads Manager with naming conventions that make reporting easy.
  4. Launch and learn. We give the platform time to exit the learning phase instead of making daily changes that reset it.
  5. Optimise. Budget moves toward ad sets and creative that produce qualified results; weak variants are paused on evidence.
  6. Report. You see spend, results and cost per result in plain language, with notes on what we changed and why.

Tools we use

Day-to-day work happens in Meta Ads Manager and Events Manager, with the Conversions API sending server-side events alongside the browser Pixel. For cross-channel reporting we use GA4 and Looker Studio, and for creative review we use Meta’s own previews for each placement so nothing is cropped badly in Stories or Reels.

What affects results, timeline and cost

Results on Meta depend on a handful of factors that no agency fully controls: the strength of the offer, the quality of the creative, the size of the audience, competition in your category and season, and how quickly your team follows up on enquiries. Tracking quality also matters, because the delivery system optimises on the signals it receives.

A new account usually needs a few weeks of testing before patterns are clear. Our management fee depends on the number of campaigns, platforms and creative volume involved; ad spend is paid directly to Meta and is always separate. We will not promise a specific cost per lead or return before we have seen real data from your account.

Some categories, such as housing, credit and employment in certain countries, fall under Meta’s special ad category rules, which limit targeting options. We check this at the start so campaigns are built within policy.

Common mistakes we fix

  • Boosting posts from the Page instead of running structured campaigns.
  • Running one ad at a time, which gives the platform nothing to compare.
  • Too many small ad sets splitting a modest budget, so none of them learns.
  • No exclusions, so existing customers keep seeing acquisition ads.
  • Judging campaigns on likes and clicks rather than qualified leads or sales.

Frequently asked questions

Is boosting a post the same as running Meta Ads?

No. Boosting is a simplified option with limited objectives, targeting and reporting. Campaigns built in Ads Manager give control over objectives, audiences, placements, creative testing and exclusions, which is where most improvements come from.

Should I use Meta lead forms or send people to a landing page?

Lead forms are quick for the user and often produce more leads, while a landing page can filter for intent and gives you more room to explain the offer. We usually test both and judge them on lead quality, not volume alone.

How soon will I see results?

Campaigns can start delivering enquiries soon after launch, but a reliable picture of what works usually takes a few weeks of testing. We avoid drastic changes during the learning phase so the data stays meaningful.

Do you create the ad creative as well?

Yes. We produce static, carousel and short video variants as part of the service, or work with creative your team already has. See Ad Creative & Copy for how we approach it.

Who owns the ad account?

You do. We work inside your Business Manager with partner access, so the account, audiences and data remain yours if we stop working together.
