Motion Graphics & Logo Animation

We animate your logo, titles and graphics so every video carries a finished, recognisable look, and we package them as templates you can reuse.

What motion graphics add to a video

Motion graphics are animated design elements: a logo that builds on screen, titles that slide in, lower thirds naming a speaker, icons and simple diagrams that explain an idea. They sit between graphic design and video editing, and they are what makes a video feel branded rather than simply recorded.

A short logo animation at the start or end of every video builds recognition over time. Consistent titles and lower thirds make a channel look organised. And a simple animated diagram can explain a process in seconds where talking would take a minute.

Good motion design is restrained. Movement should guide the eye to what matters, not compete with the speaker or the product. We keep animations short, readable and in line with your brand’s personality, whether that is calm and professional for a clinic or bold and energetic for a consumer brand.

Who benefits

  • Businesses starting a YouTube channel that want a consistent intro, outro and title style from day one.
  • Coaching institutes needing animated formulas, charts and topic headings for lessons.
  • Manufacturers explaining a process, product structure or workflow visually.
  • Real estate developers showing location maps, amenities and floor-plan highlights.
  • D2C brands adding animated product callouts and offer badges to social videos.
  • Event organisers needing branded openers and sponsor slides.

What we create

  • Logo animation: a short reveal, typically a few seconds, with optional sound design.
  • Intro and outro: branded opening and closing sequences, including an end screen layout for YouTube.
  • Lower thirds: name and title bars for speakers and interviewees.
  • Animated text and titles: section headings, key points and quotes.
  • Explainer graphics: icons, arrows, charts and simple diagrams.
  • Social variants: vertical and square versions of intros and end cards.

File formats

Finished animations are delivered as MP4 (H.264) for direct use. Where you need to place an animation over other footage, we can also export versions with a transparent background (for example ProRes 4444 or a PNG sequence), which most editing software accepts. Editable templates are supplied for the software your team uses.

Our process

  1. Brand check: we start from your logo files, colours and fonts; vector logo files give the cleanest animation.
  2. Direction: we agree the feel, such as minimal and corporate, energetic, or playful, with references.
  3. Style frames or animatic: still frames or a rough motion test to confirm the idea before full animation.
  4. Animation: timing, easing and sound are refined.
  5. Revisions and templates: after approval, we export final files and build reusable templates.

If your logo only exists as a low-resolution image, we can redraw it as a vector first. That is often worth doing anyway, and our Logo Design team handles it.

It helps to think about where the animation will actually appear before we start. A logo reveal that opens a YouTube video can take a few seconds, but the same mark at the end of a reel, on a trade-show screen or before a webinar may need a shorter or silent version. Telling us every placement upfront lets us design one animation system with the right variations, rather than re-animating the logo later for each new use. We also check that the final motion still reads clearly on a small phone screen, where fine details and thin lines tend to disappear.

Tools

Motion work is done mainly in Adobe After Effects, with logo artwork prepared in Adobe Illustrator. Templates can be supplied as Premiere Pro motion graphics templates for editors, or as simpler Canva or CapCut templates if your team edits in those tools. Fonts and sound effects are used under proper licences.

What affects timeline and cost

  • Complexity: a clean fade-and-scale reveal is quicker than a character or 3D-style animation.
  • Number of elements: a full package of intro, outro, lower thirds and titles is more work than a single logo sting.
  • Source artwork: vector files speed things up; flattened images may need redrawing.
  • Sound design: custom sound effects add a step.
  • Template needs: building editable templates for your team takes additional setup.

Common motion design mistakes

  • Intros that are too long, making viewers skip every video.
  • Animations that do not match the brand’s personality.
  • Text that moves too fast to read.
  • Different title styles in every video because no template was set up.
  • Using unlicensed fonts or sound effects that cause problems later.
Short and consistent beats long and elaborate. A logo sting of a few seconds that appears on every video does more than a spectacular intro people skip.

Frequently asked questions

How long should a logo animation be?

Usually just a few seconds. It should be long enough to register and short enough that viewers do not skip it. We also provide a shorter version for social clips.

Can you animate a logo we already have?

Yes. Vector files such as AI, SVG, EPS or PDF are ideal. If you only have a PNG or JPG, we can redraw it as a vector before animating.

Will we be able to reuse the animations ourselves?

Yes. We supply final video files and, if agreed, editable templates for Premiere Pro, Canva or CapCut so your team can apply the same look.

Do you add sound to the animation?

We can add a short sound effect or musical sting from licensed libraries, or deliver a silent version if you prefer to add music yourself.

Can motion graphics be used outside videos?

Yes. Animated logos and titles can be exported as short loops for website headers, presentation openers, digital signage or email signatures in formats suited to each, such as MP4 or a lightweight animated file.
